StreamBot 1.0

One account, one dashboard, and every tool reading from the same event stream instead of polling each platform on its own schedule. This is the version we were willing to put our name on.

The beta worked by polling. Each tool asked each platform for its own state on its own timer, which meant your alert widget and your points counter could disagree about whether someone had just subscribed, and both could be several seconds behind chat.

1.0 replaces all of that with one normalised event stream. A subscription on Twitch and a subscription on Kick arrive as the same shape, once, and every tool subscribes to it. That single change is what took median event-to-overlay latency from around four seconds to under 400ms — and it is why a viewer's XP is now the same number no matter which platform they watched on.

What that unlocked:

  • Clip detection can weigh audio peaks against chat velocity, because both are on the same timeline
  • Overlays update from a push instead of a poll, so an OBS browser source no longer needs a refresh to catch up
  • Commands can gate on state owned by another tool, like a Reward Hub level

The beta dashboard is gone rather than deprecated. Keeping a second login flow alive would have meant maintaining the polling path indefinitely, and the whole point of 1.0 was to delete it.
